About the "All Stars"

Come Join the All Stars Baton Twirlers Today!

The All Stars Baton Twirling Club was established in 1997 under firstly the name of Bankstown Grammar School (BGS) Baton Twirlers. In 2000 a second Club was started under the name of St Paul's Choir School (SPC) Baton Twirlers. The unification of these two outstanding clubs in 2004, allowed them to become independent of the schools raising Baton Twirling to a new level.  We have great support from our members and their parents, who actively participate in the vast development of the All Star Baton Twirlers.

Mrs Roselyne Stevens is President and Coach. The Club was founded by Mrs Stevens who at the time was a Teacher at BGS. Mrs. R. Stevens was a Baton Twirler herself in France in the late sixties and seventies, and also coached a Gladesville team , then a St Mary's team. She then formed her own very successful Club, the "Lennox Majorettes" in the eighties which consisted of well over 85 members.

The All Stars currently have 15 members with most residing e in various suburbs of the Canterbury-Bankstown Municipality. The Club has enjoyed and, is today, still enjoying the many achievements both in competitions and with the media. The All Star Baton Twirlers have also made appearances on Channel 10's "Totally Wild", been photographed for the "Marie Clarie" Magazine, march in the annual St Patrick's Day Parade in Sydney. They also appear regularly in local newspapers.

The All Star Baton Twirlers, not only competes at major competitions, but also hosts one of the annual competitions at the University of Western Sydney, Milperra. The All Stars are also regularly involved in major community events such as Mac Happy Day, Bankstown City Council public events, Guildford and Merrylands Festivals, Bankstown Buzz, Stuart House Children Charity, etc

In Competitions, we continuously qualify our Twirlers, , for both State and National Championships.  The State Championships are held over a weekend and in one year alone the All Stars Baton Twirlers claimed 48 trophies and medals (1st, 2nd or 3rd – both single and team events). In the same year at the National Championships in Melbourne the All Stars took home 17 trophies and medals. During this National Championships 5 members from the All Stars Baton Twirling Club were crowned Australian Champions in more than one event with our twirlers ranging from the age of 9 to 14. Each year leads us to new successes.

All Stars motto is... have fun twirling!
